• All After School Clubs will start on Tuesday 19th April.  
• (Monday) Yoga/Dance, (Tuesday) Dance and (Thursday) Gymnastics will start on 25th April

3.30 pm — 6.00pm appointments will be Face to face (entry into the school will be via Mitchell Walk) 

18:20 - 7:30 — Meetings will be held on zoom. 

Teachers have also provided a separate day to hold their Parents Evening, but this will be held on zoom.

Appointments will be available to book from Tuesday 5th October at 5pm.

Welcome to our first lockdown newsletter.  We realise that this is a really worrying time for everyone but just because we cannot be in the same physical space doesn’t mean we can’t still support each other, and it is needed now more than ever.

We’ve tried to put together information in this issue that we think may be helpful during this time but it would be great to hear from parents and carers who have pieces of advice to share with others or ideas about what you would like included each week. All ideas, recommendations and suggestions need to be sent to info@ellenwilkinson.newham.sch.uk. Please put the subject as NEWSLETTER so that it gets through to me!

In the meantime stay inside and stay safe. We will get through this together. 

Please return them as soon as possible to your child’s class teacher. Families with more than one child in the school, please list all your children’s names on one sheet and return it to your oldest child’s class and we will endeavour to coordinate appointment times (this is less likely to be possible if you chose an early time due to the popularity of this time slot.!)

Appointment times allocated will be confirmed in your child’s home school book.

LAST DAY FOR NURSERY—THURSDAY 19TH DECEMBER (NORMAL TIME)

LAST DAY FOR YEARS 1-6 —FRIDAY 20TH DECEMBER @ 1 PM

No after school clubs.

If your child has already purchased a ticket and cannot attend the new date please speak to the main office who will arrange a refund for you.

Therefore from Monday 2nd December the following arrangements will be put into place.

· Gates will open at 8.45

· We strongly recommend you aim to be in the playground by 8.50

· At 8.55 the bell will ring and children will go into class.

· Once all classes are indoors the playground gate will shut and parents will only be able to EXIT the playground.

· Any late arrivals will need to go to the front of the school to be signed in. Please note    children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Starting school on time is hugely important to your child’s education and the way they           approach their learning for the rest of the day. It is also an essential life skill.
