Free Saturday football for children in Years 4, 5 and 6
Free Saturday football for children in Years 4, 5 and 6 at any Newham primary school.
WHEN: Saturdays, 8.30 - 10am
WHERE: Rokeby School, Barking Road, London E16 4DD
TERM: 13 Saturdays, 5 September to 12 December. No sessions on 24 or 31 October, or in the Christmas holidays.
PLACES: 40
WHAT HAPPENS
Young people playing football, with qualified, DBS-checked staff leading and facilitating. There is no coaching - this is an opportunity to be active, play, and enjoy the weekend.
WHAT TO BRING
Sessions are on astroturf. Astroturf trainers or firm ground boots - no long studs. Shinpads are mandatory. Bring a refillable water bottle, wear clothing suitable for all weather, and ideally bring a change of clothes in case of bad weather.
FUNDING
Delivered by Newham Sports Club and fully funded by Rokeby School, as part of the school's commitment to supporting young people in and out of school.
