Dear Parents and Carers,

As you know, at EWPS we are committed to ensuring our 5 values are at the core of everything we do.

Therefore it was wonderful that as part of our

commitment to INSPIRE pupils we were able to welcome Olympic Hockey Captain Kate

Richardson-Walsh to speak to pupils in KS2 yesterday.

Kate not only explained about the challenges and resilience needed to become an Olympic champion, she also discussed how important trying lots of sports was at school (as most of them she wasn’t overly good at!)

Hopefully she has INSPIRED the next Olympic Gold Medallist in the audience
