Harvest Festival

We had lots of donations for our Harvest Festival.  ‘Ambition, Aspire, Achieve’ organisation ( who collected the food) were very grateful and said, ‘The generosity of the families is truly appreciated, especially in such challenging times.’ They asked that we thank you all for helping them to ‘make a difference and for changing lives’

Up and Out Week

Our Ambassadors & Junior Governors hosted over 10 professionals and two of our Local MPs as they visited our school over Up and Out Week.  The children prepare questions to ask the visitors about their professions and engage in activities about the role. We also had the charity Dogs Trust hold a whole school assembly to discuss the importance of their work and how they help families look after pets.  Some other visitors included: martial arts teachers, musicians, roofing companies, people in banking and many more!

Houses of Parliment trip

Our Junior Governors from Years 2 - 5 enjoyed a trip to the House of Parliament on Tuesday 5th November. We was able to take a walk into the Westminster Lobby and learn some interesting facts about the age and purpose of that part of the building. As well as, an extra special and spontaneous visit to the national gallery, where we was able to watch a House of Commons session live! Their behaviour and manners were expectational!
